Which audio formats are supported?

Common audio formats (m4a, aac, mp3, etc.) import directly; non-m4a is transcoded automatically. Video files (mp4/mov) can have their audio extracted (Pro).

Is my data safe?

All audio and segments stay on your own device. No account is required and your audio is never uploaded. Exporting and restoring backups is always free.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

The core experience is free and complete; Pro removes the volume limits (unlimited segmentation, shadowing, dictation) and unlocks silence-trim and learning stats. One-time purchase, not a subscription.

How does WiFi web dictation work?

Enable the server in Settings, connect phone and computer to the same WiFi, then open the shown URL (or scan the QR) in your computer browser to type along on the big screen — synced in real time.

How do I back up my data?

Export an .otoblade backup (optionally with audio) in Settings, and import it on a new device to restore. Backup and restore are always free.
